Couldn't agree more GI54. It was an action-packed race and looked to be going Mark Smith's way for a considerable time, until Jacko sent him wide (and he suffered from a smoking engine/rad afterwards). Likewise, Nick Smith took out the leading contenders with a corner thrust that unfortunately didn't pay off for him when his car rolled onto the roof after a tussle with 161. Chopper deserved the win for so many reasons. He contributes masses to the sport, and has come so close on a number of occasions in the past. But most importantly for having the balls to wear the 'Chopper 4 Gold' t-shirt on the parade lap and bringing along a tin of gold paint for the roof!!! How blimming confident is that!!! And finally, for the quickest upgrade I've ever witnessed to the gold roof status! He came out resplendent in gold for the second race! Hope it dried nicely for you Chops and doesn't contain any dirt! :) :) :)

Well done to Team Aylward, as they all contributed their bit to making a successful result for Chops! And its goes without saying a great big thanks to all who took part deserve a mention as without them, there would be no race!

Lol! one of our kids favourite sayings at the moment is taken from Gears & Tears-Andy Smiths daughter ' are you feeling confident Daddy?' this was said to Chopper many times over the last few weeks and was only answered with a smile!
The T shirts were brought along by Chops brother and i agree it took balls for him to wear one as it was about 3 sizes too small!!
The gold roof was supplied by RS signs who brought along a gold roof sticker for the winner.
