Superstox European Championship 2012 - Results

The Superstox European Championship held at a very wet Lochgelly tonight was won by Todd Jones (186), followed by Jason Cooper (482) and Chris Roots (67). Thanks to Trudy Aylward for ongoing race commentary via Facebook and the final result!

An action-packed race on a very wet track with a great battle in the early laps between 177 Gilchrist and 7 Salmon amongst others. The two Meadows brothers had a coming together which caused the first stoppage with 186 Jones and 482 Cooper now in contention. Another stoppage followed shortly after with Gilchrist being shoved back the irder. Jones took up the running and extended his lead to cross the line in first place!

Another wet race with many drivers fighting to maintain control in the tricky conditions. 482 Jason Cooper keeps the car pointing in the right direction to take a well earned win.

A race of attrition saw the newly-crowned European Champion 186 Todd Jones take a win as darkness falls on the Fife circuit.
