Greetings Superstox race fans to the latest incarnation of this website. As you can see, the colourful old website has gone (well for the time being!) and replaced with this custom forum software package. So what's new and worth all this fuss? Well, we will be publishing articles relating to the racing highlights as we move through the 2010 season. Long-promised technical content will also be added as we progress through the year and the requested inclusion of a dedicated technical forum will no doubt improve the dissemination of information amongst the interested!
Through the implementation of the latest vBulletin software, the inclusion and layout of information will become much easier to achieve and more manageable. This will bring about a consistent look and feel to the website as well as providing site-wide search facilities across latest news, technical articles and forums. This new version will be a refreshingly interactive experience for everybody concerned, which I felt lacked from the last attempt. You will be able to create and personalise your own account as well as generate your own blogs and give your much-valued opinions on other people's views.
I hope you agree that this is a vast improvement over the previous example. I will be adding the usual splash of colour just as soon as I'm up-to-speed with the mechanics of vBulletin!!! So don't forget to email me with any ideas you have for this website!
I'd like to thank all those people I have come to know closely through the sport and your ceaseless patience with my questions/opinions! I must first mention Lee Fear who has offered much advice over the last couple of years. Being the owner of superstox.org.uk, he knows what he is talking about! I must also personally thank Alex Meadows (SX 176) for the inspiration to turn this site around for the main purpose of sharing the thoughts/voices of both fans and drivers alike... cheers mate, I owe you, or do
you owe me!?!?
Oh, and finally I also think it pertinent to mention my long-suffering family, who endure the never-ending requests for their opinions on my endeavours - you have very tough skins guys and hearts of gold!!!
Regards, Lee Maher (AKA brainflood)
